GAC is Auburn's
entrepreneurship engine.
We build a cohort of local professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and business owners, then put their real skills to work solving Auburn-specific problems from idea to launch to growth.

About The Cohort
The GAC Cohort is a six-month entrepreneurial program that equips founders with expert mentorship, practical education, community connections, and access to funding opportunities to help turn ideas into thriving businesses that benefit Auburn.
How It works
Local entrepreneurs and professionals with Auburn-focused businesses apply and are selected through a clear criteria process.
12–18 cohort members meet 1st & 3rd Mondays Sept–Nov for workshops, mentorship, and real skill-building sessions.
Businesses get launched or accelerated with full GAC support; from legal setup through marketing and community connection.
January 15: Cohort pitches to Placer Community Foundation for grants, funding, ongoing exposure, and long-term support.

Through networking mixers, workshops, hackathons, pitch nights, and innovation events, we bring together founders, mentors, investors, creatives, technologists, and community leaders to build meaningful connections, share ideas, and strengthen the Greater Auburn entrepreneurial ecosystem.
